Privacy notice

This page explains what data we collect through the site, why we collect it and how long we keep it, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

01

Who processes your data

The data controller is MADEIRA Servizi Edili, Via Monte Bianco 42, 10024 Moncalieri (Turin), Italy, VAT no. 12912000010.

For anything to do with your personal data, write to info@madeiraserviziedili.it or call +39 327 112 3313. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as one is not required for our activity.

02

What data we collect

We only collect the data you give us yourself:

  • Contact details: name, phone number, email address and town, when you fill in the quote form or get in touch by email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Details of the job: the description of the work, dimensions, photographs and any documents you send us so we can prepare the quote.
  • Technical browsing data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected in aggregate form by the technical and statistical cookies described in the Cookie policy.

We do not collect special categories of data (Article 9 GDPR) and we do not ask for payment details through the site.

03

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiries and prepare quotes. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To manage the contract, the works and invoicing. Legal basis: performance of the contract and compliance with legal, tax and safety obligations (Articles 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • To document the work with site photographs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in documenting what we do (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The photographs published on this site show no identifiable people and nothing that would identify the property or the client; to publish identifiable images we always ask for your written consent.
  • To measure how the site is used and how our adverts perform. Legal basis: consent, for non-technical cookies only (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
04

Who we share data with

Your data is never sold, passed on or published. It is shared only with the people who help us deliver the service, each in their own role:

  • our accountants, for invoicing and tax compliance;
  • qualified consultants (surveyors, engineers, designers) when the work needs planning applications or structural checks;
  • tradespeople and specialist firms working on the site, limited to what they need to do their part;
  • our website hosting and email providers, acting as processors under Article 28 GDPR.

Data is held on servers within the European Union. If a provider involved a transfer to a third country, it would happen only with the safeguards required by Chapter V of the GDPR.

05

How long we keep it

  • Quote enquiries that go no further: 24 months from the last contact, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back.
  • Clients: for the duration of the relationship and then 10 years, as civil and tax law require.
  • Site photographs: indefinitely if anonymous; until consent is withdrawn if identifiable.
  • Browsing data: for the periods set out in the Cookie policy.
06

Your rights

You can exercise your rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR at any time: access your data, ask for it to be corrected or erased, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, receive your data in a portable format and withdraw consent you have given.

Just write to info@madeiraserviziedili.it and we will reply within 30 days. If you believe the processing breaches the rules, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).

07

Providing your data, and how we protect it

The fields marked as required on the contact form are needed so we can call you back and prepare the quote: without them we cannot take the enquiry forward. Everything else is optional.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including an encrypted connection to the site, access limited to the people who need it and site documents kept in secure storage. We carry out no automated decision-making and no profiling.
